RE: Mastering help
So, you want to "MIXING" your song.
Mastering is only made in a real Studio. I advice you to pass here: http://www.meldaproduction.com/audiotuto...rospectral And here: http://audio.tutsplus.com/ |

RE: Mastering help
As Somius said, what you want to do is mix your track...
Well, let's start with the basics, there are 4 main FXs in almost every song. These are Reverb, Delay, Filter and EQ I would suggest you to try to add any of these FXs and use the presets (as a start) to try to get a better sound, you should also play with the FX Level, i mean, let's say you add a 3/4 Delay with full feedback and some reduced cut off, if you leave it at 100% the sound will be surely messy, so, just reduce the level of the FX (by moving the knob at the right of the plugin name on the mixer) so it goes to the background. Also, if you use too much delay and reverb all together in the same mixer track, I would recommend you to bridge the track and add all the FX on the bridged track. Try that and let me know what is the outcome FLInside Adminstrator Music Production Community PLEASE READ THE RULES BEFORE POSTING! Follow us on: Twitter__ Google+

RE: Mastering help
Mastering is leveling the volume of like before a cd gets put out. If you mean mixing then you want compressors, limiters, eqs, etc. (waves 7.1 is the best program for that stuff.) Also listen to music that you already know that has been mastered. It helps you understand how the sound should really sound. also dont compress evrything. Alot of people getting into it seem to think that putting a compressor on everything seems to mean that the track is mastered. blah blah blah.
