How to detect BPM of a song?
I find dificult to find the BPM (Beats per minute) of a song, do you have any kind of tips to do this?
For example, I downloaded the flinside pack for contest and can't match the bpm of "Just the way you are - Bruno Mars" Thanks in advance |

In FLStudio you have the option to right click on the sample and select Detect Tempo, you can give it a try and then adjust it a little bit if needed. The other way (the one I use and prefer) is by taping it. Follow this steps and it should not fail 1) Drag the song to the playlist 2) Press Play 3) Right click on the Tempo 4) Click the tap command and you'll see the tempo tap window appear (you can have the song playing before you launch the tap tool). Click the tap icon repeatedly with the desired tempo in mind. You will see the tempo adjust to new levels after some taps. For best results, tap at least 10-16 times until the tempo is stabilized. Click the OK button to accept the new tempo. 5) Make sure you enable the metronome and play the song along and see if it matches the tempo FLInside Adminstrator Music Production Community PLEASE READ THE RULES BEFORE POSTING!
