How send separate channel midi message?
Hi all,
I'm new in forum and FL, so apologize in advance if my question is banal (and for my english). I am a programmer and I developed an interface beetween external midi apparatus and Pc's. I tried to send midi instruments notes to FL separated for channel, my idea is to save time in program change routine when we plays more voices at same time. I don't found in FL how to set a global voice track to specific input midi channel. Isn't possible? many thanks. |

RE: How send separate channel midi message?
Hello Lemor,
Let me see if I got this right... You want to know where to find the MIDI settings for FL Studio? As you are already working with MIDI interafaces I am afraid you already know that MIDI works with channels... So.. If you want to route the information your software sends, you should use a specific Channel. You can find all the settings regarding MIDI in FL Studio under Options -> Midi Settings. You will see something like this: ![]() I guess that FL will recognize the MIDI device, so, just make sure it's enabled and then just play around with the channels (bottom right corner of the MIDI settings window) Hope this helps!
