Having ReFX Nexus 2.2 problems? Post here

Please post here if you got ANY problems with Nexus 2.2 and/or it's expansions

I downloaded nexus and installed that i copied the content and i can open that in fl studio but there are no presets, the library is empty. what did i wrong?

So:      first of all i downloaded it then i opened that 17 parts and i got the iso. i opened the iso with winrar und i saw the content, setup, etc.
then i installed the setup and i installed that in C:/programmfiles/VSTPlugins
after that i copied the nexus content which was in the iso in that C:/programmfiles/VSTPlugins so that it is where the nexus.dll is too.
then i started fl 9 and i could open nexus but i don't see any preset etc.

i opend that download with normal winrar.

Your Nexus VSTi (with the Content folder) can be anywhere on your computer - but we just say install it where Windows would like to install it... The nexus.dll NEEDS to be in a folder specified by FL Studio... Go into FL - Options - Files settings - VST plugins extra search folder... See what that says... If it doesn't say anything set C:\program files\VSTPlugins\ as that extra search folder... Close FL... open FL again and search for more plugins - if you don't know how please respond to me again and I will tell you how...

can you may exactly tell me every stap when you have downloaded the iso?

make sure you're installing nexus 2.2... install it where it wants to be installed (it might say c:\program files\nexus)... Then after you've installed it copy the Nexus Content folder from the DVD into the Nexus folder... then copy the nexus.dll into the VSTPlugins folder (if you haven't put it there during the installation)... Open fl, search for extra plugins, it should find Nexus, open Nexus (then Nexus will search your harddrive for sounds - this takes a while)... And it should work...

im very very sorry i even installed that one more time and did each step. and i can open nexus there is no problem but the library is empty no categorys, presets,.................
do i have to open that with deamon tools or what? cant i open it with winrar????

you have to mount the iso with something (deamon-tools or poweriso, etc) in order to install it... some users are not sure where to put the nexus.dll... what folder is specified as your "VST plugins extra search folder" in FL? Mine is d:\Program Files (x86)\VstPlugins\
you don't HAVE to install it on the c: drive but it's easier that way.... Try selecting another "VST plugins extra search folder" in FL (WARNING: all of your other VSTi's MIGHT not be there) and install Nexus in that folder...
Give it a try - you sound a little desperate (I would be too though)

Idk if you have encountered this problem, but I have a lot of expansions that say "expansion product unknown". I've looked up websites and the solution I got was this:
"You need to have nexus v2.2.0.0 installed then import all official nexus 1.41 .nxp packs thats all the official nexus 1.41 packs into nexus 2.2.0.0 and drop these presets into nexus presets folder and hey they should now work. Some will work without the expansions."

I know how to import data from sys, but I have no idea how to get all these presets working from from a torrent. People commented that the solution was to import all 1.4 nxp packs on the torrent as well.
Help?  :'(

always use the latest version of any VSTi that you can... In this case with Nexus, use version 2.2... ALL expansions work in this version...

there you will get some .nxp files that you can import into Nexus

I'm using Nexus 2.2 and still I'm having trouble with the expansions fully working. I know how to use torrents haha.. And I just read this from the uploader:
"none are corrupted , you just need ALL ..all...ALL of the nexus .nxp packs ,some are hard to get. 5 are not to easily available.
once you have them all, you will get no corrupt data errors "

So I guess I need the .nxp of those expansion I have that aren't working. :/ Time to search for them..
