I'm completely new to this whole program, although I've figured out a few different tricks.
I'm a user of Guitar Pro 6, which does a lot of work with Midi... and I'm very interested in converting some of my midi made song into bigger, better, more "production value" type songs. I've a few questions though... the sample music showing of FL 9's "new stuff", it sounds like it's clipping when I play it.... everything sounds good until the vocals come in. Is this because I have smaller speakers, or a hardware issue? Also, I've done a little work with my Midi files (I usually do Rock songs etc) and towards the end, I get a lot of clipping from all the tracks.... I tried putting EQ's on them, but that doesn't seem to help. Like I said, I'm very new to this... but I'm quite interested in learning because it's a very powerful program and something I could really really get into... thanks! |

RE: Clipping sound?
Hello foreverspellman,
Sorry for the late reply, what's probably happening is that your audio device is getting overloaded. Try this: Go to Options -> Audio Settings You will get something like this: ![]() Click on the drop-down menu and select the option ASIO4ALL (audio interface). Basically in a few words, the issue you are facing right now is all about the latency, this is the time frame in between the signal to play and the response (the same way as a network PING [for nerdies ] ) so, what ASIO4ALL does is: Reduces the latency and improves the quality of the sound. This should work buddy, let me know if this helps!
