A great way to advertise is with Yahoo Answers. It also helps extremely with page ranking with search engines so overall improves site traffic traumatically if you do it regularly. You could be looking at gaining 500 members a month if you stick to it.

What you do is I will ask a question on Yahoo Answers with something to do with this forum.

For example:

Hey I'm looking for a free download for Fruity Loops Studio 9, can anyone help me ?.

Someone would then answer.

I found as great site called, flinside.com. They have a free download on there site flinside.com/blablabla. It's also a great community, and if your new to producing it could really help you.

Another great way is to setup a YouTube, and post frequent tutorials like NFX beats did. Or get an intro and ask members or get a team of people who post tutorials to ask them if they will include an intro to their video to help advertise the site.

When i progress as a producer I myself, will be posting frequent tutorials on my YouTube and will be willing to help the site out.

Well anyways this site has great potential to become a successful site !.

Yep just get 2 of you to do it, try do it 4-5 times a day and watch traffic improve after a couple weeks.

The decision will not be mine:
I'm just afraid that most of the guys who came to the forum from there just use this to get their vst's and fuck off. That's a problem that we face in this days.

In my opinion, yes, we have to do that, BUT we need to get that thing of permissions that was discussed on another forum so we can get members and real members, not those members who get here and leave as soon as they get their vst's

If you didn't noticed, most of you got a new rank that is called "FLInside User" if not, you just have to wait, it takes some time to the system to detect you.

Our idea is that, just FLInside users can download links, and to be promoted to FLInside User you need posts+time+(pass the pruning system)

We'll see it working the next week i think.

You will always get members who just come to get something and leave. A certain percentage will stay active. For example there could be a site with 100,000 members but only 10,000 active posters.

You have only 2,300 members only few will be active.

As more people join more people will get interested and stay and become active, and many people visit the forum but just like to check the forums out without posting.

Give people reasons to stay and they will.

Making people do things to download stuff etc is a bad idea. If they see they have to do that, most will move on to another site.

I just want to stop leechers but at the same time i want to see the community growing with good content, i don't have any other idea ...
